Renovation to a historic coal gas production building to convert it to the port Deposit Visitor’s Center and Towson University Northern Map Turtle Research Center. The building was stripped to the stone, repointed, and a new timber roof structure rebuilt to match the original deteriorated roof structure, returning the building to its original glory. A new exterior deck, interior spiral staircase and wheelchair lift was added.
